One guaranteed selling point for mobile devices and similar electronic gadgets manufactured in China is that the best of them can match the performances of products from South Korea or the US, and still remain comparatively affordable for many consumers. Among the Chinese electronics companies coasting on this solid reputation of great tech at good value is Xiaomi, with their lineup of smartphones, tablets, laptops and more becoming an increasingly popular alternative for electronics shopping. It is not for nothing that they have over 20 Mi Stores in the Philippines already, with one in Gaisano Mall of Davao. At least that was until the opening of a new one today.

The Mindanao Times tells us that the 23rd Authorized Mi Store in the country, and the second in Davao City, has opened on Friday, February 5, at SM City Davao. Located at the second floor of the Annex building, the new Mi Store boasts a good floor size of 243 square meters, filled with all the latest Xiaomi gadgets one could ever want or need. With this new branch, Xiaomi looks set to be establishing a footprint in Davao City, with more shoppers in the area looking to get a new Mi phone like the 10T Pro or RedMi 9T.

It being opening day, the SM City Davao Mi Store had a nice little giveaway wherein its first 20 customers were gifted “Mi Fan” shirts and decorative flash drives. In addition, until closing time today the branch is graciously cutting 5% off the prices of all items they have on display. The day is almost done but maybe you can still check things out. From smart watches to air purifiers to wireless earphones, Xiaomi has got them at great quality for affordable prices. Again, the new Mi Store is at SM City Davao-Annex, second floor.
