PLDT, as anybody might remember, is perhaps the most famous telephone company in the Philippines, and now one of the country’s major internet service providers. Along with its mobile communications arm Smart Cellular, PLDT has been continuing on its promise from its original inception back in 1928 to connect Filipinos together, by phone since then and online now.
GenSan too has been blessed with the power of connectivity by PLDT ever since it took over original provider Piltel (now part of Smart). As of today the Plaza Heneral Santos in front of City Hall is covered by a free Wi-Fi service courtesy of PLDT-Smart. This 2017 Tuna Festival, they are ready to take things to a whole new level just for the occasion.
In conjunction with the 19th GenSan Tuna Festival, PLDT is engaging in what they describe to be their biggest broadband internet sale in the City with their PLDT Home FIBR. From September 1 to 5, PLDT will be keeping shop over at the General Santos City Oval Plaza, heart of the Tuna Fest celebrations, offering special unlimited broadband plans of their Home FIBR platform for all interested Generals. The theme of their special event sale is the celebration of Filipino connections and the encouragement to discover more about the heritage of GenSan.
In order to really get the Generals in the mood with their promotion, PLDT and Smart will be demonstrating the sheer power of their network by providing their guests at the Oval Plaza with free public internet. To sweeten the deal, the free access will be at their top speed of over 100Mbps, no ifs and but, all through the duration from September 1 to 5. Visitors to the PLDT booth will get to try out the Home FIBR package for themselves, hopefully convincing them enough to go for it.
And for a cherry on top, PLDT Home FIBR plans will be more affordable with special deals just for the Tuna Fest period, exclusively for residents of GenSan. What further encouragement do the Generals need? PLDT and Smart is flexing their FIBR power up until this Tuesday, September 5. Visit them at the Oval Plaza and try out their free internet; perhaps it will be the ticket towards you going for PLDT Home. See you around.
