In the ongoing battle for dominance between the Philippines’ many mobile networks, only one thing is certain: whichever offers the best deal, gains the customers. Smart Communications is gearing to make a major play in the market with their latest promo. Now, for the sake of informing the public, the average telephone call in the Philippines would cost callers P7.50 per minute. Pretty steep anyway you look at it. And that is why Smart and its sister networks Talk & Text and Sun Cellular are joining forces to offer a magnificently affordable alternative of customers making calls from any of the three to all other networks for the dynamite price of only a Peso a minute.

According to local tech news blog Games and Gizmos, Smart is introducing “Smart Express Call 50”, a brand new mobile network promo that comes with 50 minutes worth of all-network calls, and stays valid for 3 days. The sweet part about Smart Express Call 50 is that it can be availed as an add-on to any existing Smart promos a user is subscribed too. Not to mention that this is available for both prepaid and postpaid Smart consumers.

Meanwhile, T&T and Sun will soon also wow their loyal user base with identical promos to their mother network Smart, but far more affordable. Details are as of yet sketchy, but users of both mobile services can similarly power up whatever Sun and T&T promos they’ve got going with an additional 5 minutes of all-network calls that’ll cost only a steal at P5.

This bit of news is only an advance announcement by Smart Communications to hype up their loyal fans, but they assure that instructions for registering in these promos and other additional information about them will be released in the future, as soon as the details become available. So watch your Smart or Talk & Text or Sun space. It’s coming.
